SJCPL's Info File
Database
SJCPL's Info File database contains answers to unusual and interesting questions that were
collected over many years at the library. Currently it contains over 700 records. It is
provided by the Reference Department of the St. Joseph County Public Library. The Info
File was originally created as a timesaving card file for hard to find answers and
frequently asked questions. Typically, some of these would be: the origins of holidays,
where to write for a birthday card from the President, the latitude and longitude of South
Bend, quotes, poems, etc. Some of the records actually contain the answers while others
are only references to other sources. This file is searchable by key word only (Includes
several relevant key words pertaining to the Revolutionary War).
