We (the 1st Maryland Infantry/Southern Campaign (NC)) .spent the  weekend doing a living history setup on the park grounds behind the visitor center. Since Sonja and I did not have out tent yet we spent the nights at a nearby motel.  We had a possible new recruit join us for the day on Saturday, and on Sunday we had all the members of the group at the events, which is the 2nd time only this has happened since the group was formed. The guys drilled in their small clothes on Saturday and in our full uniform on Sunday while the ladies chatted. When we were not doing drills we rested easy in camp since it was hot and humid. It was a very enjoyable weekend for all!
