     We are Michael, Sonja, Buddy & Rebel Meals, who have various interests in life, and have found and continue to find information on the Internet and the WWW that match or has our interests.

     We met on the Internet in December 1998 and were married on June 18, 1999 in the Church of Christ in Cabot, Arkansas. We live in Georgia . We are Christians and have been attending the Church of Christ in Karns, TN

     The past year has been amazing. A lot has happened. It can be summed up in this letter.

     Michael is a student at the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions.  He is pursuing a career as a preacher. He just finished his 4th quarter (summer) and is half way to graduation. Presently is is on summer break. In the past he has worked as a helper with the loading of vending machines at the Georgia Welcome Center south of Chattanooga. He has worked at Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park. He has mainly worked at the Chickamauga Battlefield unit of the park. He was employed as a seasonal living history person. His jobs duties included talking to visitors about the common soldier in the civil war and concluded the presentations with a firing of the rifle-musket. He worked weekend afternoons and Monday and Tuesday. He also has helped  as a volunteer for the past year and continues to do so formally by being a host at the information desk in the Visitor Center and has informally helped by picking up trash to help preserve the park's beauty.   Sonja is continuing her career in nursing as a nurse on long term disability (see letter). We are in the process of  furthering our information on our families and our family tree. We are putting up a web page of Honor to those family member who served.

     In September 2005 we adopted a Chihuahua,  "Buddy",  via family ( or is it that he adopted us?!? )

      Then, in October 2005 we also adopted a stray and named him "Rebel".  Our family grew quickly last fall and we love our dogs

     We have some Christian Information links (friends, devotions).  We own www.revwar.com on the Internet.

     We both have been  revolutionary war reenactors. We were members in the 1st Maryland Infantry/Southern Campaign (NC). We were also associate members of Sheldon's Horse, Second Continental Light Dragoons. We now have a personal revolutionary war reenactment photo gallery.

     Knowing what the Weather is doing in the area sure helps with making plans for the day.
