2nd Connecticut Regiment of the Continental Line




The mission of this organizatiom shall be to perpetuate the history of the
American Revolution, its military, civilian, and recreational aspects,
and to honor the courage, tenacity and devotion of the commom
soldier and his family as a reminder of our national heritage.

    Battle of Lexington & Concord

    2. Detachment at Battle of Breed's Hill (June 17, 1775)
    3. Detachment with Benedict Arnold on the march to Quebec
      through present day Maine) Fall - winter 1775

    New York City Campaign (April - November 1776) Regiment
    renamed 22nd Regiment of Foot under Col. Samual Willys.

    1979 - Regiment made an offical Connecticut
    1986 - Lorelee Sienkowski voted President (1986-1989), Chris
    Peters voted Sgt.
    1989 - Regiment sells 6 pounder cannon after finding the barrel
    with faults. Pete Marchand elected President. Chris Peters promoted
    by election from Sgt. to Lieut.
    1990 - Roy Drake elected Sgt. Rank of Lieut dropped. Lorelee
    elelcted President (1990-1995)
    1991 - Tom Purvis elected Sgt.
    1992 - Mike Meals elected Sgt. Unoffical office of Historian
    created, Mike Meals elected.
    1993 - Steve Johnson elected Sgt.(1993-1995). Historian
    made as an offical elected office, Mike Meals elected. The
    elected office of Chaplain created, Mike Meals elected (1993-current)
    1994 - Regiment in the mini-series "the Amercian Revolution"
    Andrew Mollihan elected Historian
    1995 - Lorelee does not run for office. Several offices combined:
    Steve Johnson is elected President/Commander (1995-1996).
    Adjutant added as office Mike Meals elected.
    1996 - Steve Johnson is elected President/Commander
    1997 - February: Regiment reorganized. Ed Reynolds
    President/Commander. Mike Meals still contact person,
    plus Vice President & Cpl. In late may Mike Meals was
    promoted to Sgt. on the feild. In June Ed Reynolds stepped
    down from office. Mike Meals accepted the duties of
    President/Commander.
    1998 - Mike Meals is relected as President/Commander. Patrick Ryan is elected VP and is appointed Cpl. In July Mike Meals accepts the rank of Lieutenat and Patrick is promoted to Sgt.
    1999 - In April Michael Meals Resigned all his offices except webmaster as he moved to Arkansas to marry his soulmate Sonja. The become associate members. Patrick Ryan become President/Commander
